Norway’s new King Haakon VIII takes oath in parliament

The new king swore to uphold the constitution in parliament in Oslo, the first major institutional step of his reign. Haakon VIII’s wife Queen Mette-Marit had to skip the event in the aftermath of her lung transplant.
